Bermuda. . . a
celebration of contrasts! Relaxed vacation destination; international
business hub. Colorful flowers; pristine white roofs. Ancient forts;
modern amenities. Bustling port city; tranquil nature reserves. People
of diverse origins; one friendly face. So much to discover and fill
the day and nighttime hours you'll never wonder "What to
do", just how to find enough time to do it.
The
spirit of Bermuda's people is part of the legacy of the island's
colonizers. The first settlers knew well the value of neighborliness.
Today, friendly folks still greet one another on the street, and
politeness and kindness are a way of life. Come and feel "at
home" in our home. . . we'll give you something to dance about. |

| Enchanting
cottages behind a flowering hedge, a gladed "country"
road, sailboats in sunlight adrift on a calm harbor, historic
mansions and museums, and Eden-like gardens. . . something
wonderful around every corner. On the beach or on the town, down
a peaceful lane, along a winding trail, be footloose and
carefree, day or night. Part of the fun of seeing the sights is
getting there: by moped, bus, taxi or ferry, on a tour or on
your own. Go ahead, get lost in Bermuda, you can always count on
a friendly Bermudian to point the way home. |

Rising
from the ocean like the legendary Atlantis, ringed by the
northern-most coral reefs, Bermuda enjoys an abundance of
Nature's charms. Roam the beaches of pink sugar sands that
stretch on until tomorrow, be gently tossed in the foaming surf,
or swim in a romantic grotto, in waters of startling clarity.
Walk along avenues opulently decorated with aromatic oleander,
frangipani, bougainvillea, and hibiscus, in year-round
comfortable temperature. |

|
| A
cruciform configuration of rooms to allow for cooling breezes,
walls made of native coral stone to withstand rough weather, and
glistening whitewashed stepped roofs to collect rainwater for
drinking, are some outstanding features that have been part of
the "Bermuda" look since the 17th century.
The pastel palette of colors is inspired by native flora, a
sunny outlook, and an innate desire to delight. |

Six
hundred and fifty miles from the nearest landfall, encircled by
protective coral reefs, with miles of soft pink sandy beaches,
Bermuda offers endless opportunities for swimming, serene sun
bathing, and anything on, in and under the water. You are never
fare from the ocean's edge and will never feel crowded, in fact
you may find that you have "your" beach all to
yourself. |

| Water
clarity to 150 feet, the world's northernmost coral reefs
teeming with life and an ocean floor littered with hundreds of
wrecks from the 15th to 20th century make
Bermuda one of the finest, most fascination Scuba diving
destinations in the world. Indeed, Bermuda has recently been
awarded the title "Wreck Diving Capital of the
Atlantic". Any of the completely equipped dive centers with
certified dive masters will gladly "take you down" for
the first time, provide lessons, or test for certification. |

Non-swimmers
and children may take the plunge, and enjoy the underwater
experience without even getting their hair wet by taking one of
the Helmet Diving excursions.
Bermuda's changing wind conditions make it an ideal windsurfing
destination for both the novice and the seasoned sailor. Best
months for performance sailing are October through April. First
timers will find many experienced instructors that will have you
up and going with the wind in no time. |

Bermuda
has more acreage dedicated to golf per square mile than anywhere
else. World-class golf courses have one hazard few others can
claim: arresting beauty. You needn't be a celebrity or head of
state to enjoy the challenge and awesome beauty of any of the
eight golf courses Bermuda offers. Teeing off will never be the
same again. November through March is an especially good time of
year to be on the links.

And
there's much, much more. Fishing, biking, strolling or jogging.
Cave exploring or wandering in Bermuda's nature reserves. So
much awaits you in this small island of paradise. Mark Twain, a
frequent visitor to this 21-square mile island, said it best:
"You go to heaven if you want, I'll stay in Bermuda."
So, Think Pink - Come to Bermuda!
